Dan Registry and Lineage

We are proud of our lineage at Hidden Path Arts.

Head Instructor Kim Bauman and her sons trained directly under Grandmaster Young Hong, who brought their Tang Soo Do derived art directly from Korea.

Hidden Path Arts differentiates between adult and youth black belt grades. Since the youth have put in as much time as the adults, they are awarded a full and engraved belt and they receive a Dan Certificate. Until the age of 16, youth black belts will hold a dan rank that is stamped "Junior Grade". This certificate does not qualify for the instructor program or curriculum.
